The only way to organize your pliers

I am a confessed tool junky. I have recently taken to organizing my shop and found I have over 100 pairs of pliers for every profession. Many were acquired from my father at his passing. Having the right tool makes a job easier but not so much fun when you cant find it. I tried other products made of plastic and found they do not compare to this tool. It is well made and accepts either spring loaded pliers or standard pliers. It works equally well sitting on a shelf, laying down in a drawer or screwed to a tool wall. I just now ordered another and will probably order more in the future. These are not cheap and cost almost twice what the plastic versions do. In my opinion it is worth it. I will pass these to my children when I am done with them. It will last a lifetime. For that quality I am willing to pay the price.

Used in a professional shop setting. I couldn't find a vertical pliers rack on the tool trucks or at Harbor Freight but was able to find one on Amazon. It fits most of the pliers I've tried to put into it with the exception of some that have thick handles or are wide. It requires some pliers' handles to be slightly compressed to fit. It sure has cleaned up my pliers drawer in my tool box. Much easier to find the pliers I need, especially since most of the handles are now black and my brain continues to look for the pliers by their original handle colors...

It came with a pair of plastic mounting pegs, but I tossed those immediately and used an M5 nut and bolt to attach to my pegboard, and I have had zero issues with the pliers rack! It does an excellent job of keeping my pliers, cutters and crimpers neatly arranged, and as anyone who has had to try and keep a drawer full of pliers looking sharp can tell you, that's a task and a half.

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a robust and visually pleasing way to store their pliers.

I’ve been searching high and low for a rack for my JEWELERS’ PLIERS that:

1) holds them securely and neatly in place;

2) transports easily, without pliers falling out—MAJOR for me (easily change project/work area);

3) stands upright, for time-saving, effortless, identification/selection of what you need.

4) displays each and every one at arms-length without having to lift a finger or search through a bag, box, or cluster/pile of pliers—a real time-saver!

I’m buying another rack, since isn’t strictly limited to pliers.
The ONLY thing that would make this rack more valuable to me would be to add a handle somehow that would allow it to be carried with one hand.

The Pliershack II works well for me and I have had no issues fitting all my pliers in the unit. I had enough of them to warrant ordering a second one. I have not seen anything that comes close for easy access and keeping them all together. The feature I like best is the build quality. Nothing cheap about these. During my workshop organization the trays are resting on a shelf. When I finish my design layout they will be wall mounted. I do not recommend mounting to a peg board. Once filled with tools the unit would be too heavy.
